Lovely In Lace Doll

"Lovely in Lace"is a charming evening gown, just made to show off Hollywood's latest sensation, circa 1941. Start with a satiny underdress, trim at the top with spaghetti straps, then put a ruffle at the bottom of the skirt for fullness. Add a fantasy lace over dress, with scoop neck and layered lace sleeves. Taper it at the waist, then let it spring forth with more lacy layers along the bottom. Then add one more layer of lace around the waist, tied with a blue ribbon. Includes "pearl" earrings, "pearl" bracelet, ribbon lace-up shoes, seamed hosiery, and a modest pair of lace panties. Gene's blonde hair is a vision of curls and tiny blue bows. Costume designed by renowned fashion artist Tim Kennedy.
