The major inspiration for the dolls comes from the legendary French doll companies, Jumeau and Bru who produced dolls in France between the 1860's through the 1900's. Today Jumeau and Bru antique dolls are amongst the most sought after and expensive in the world.

All dolls are crafted in only double bisque porcelain from Limoges, France. The hair on all of the doll creations is made from only the finest French mohair and the eyes are made of only the finest silicone.

All clothing is made from the finest European couture fabrics. An example of this is the fact that all of the lace which is used on the clothing comes from a company which is based in Calais, France and has been producing superior quality laces for over 127 years.

Reve de Porcelaine dolls come in a high quality collector's box, have their own doll stand and certificate of authenticity. The limited edition dolls come with a numbered certificate of authenticity.

*All dolls come with porcelain legs, arms, face and breastplate and a soft body except some of the Bebe Jumeau productions are fully articulated and have wood bodies, which is a part of the great doll making tradition of France.
