Our Italian artisans, members of a quickly disappearing sect, have created a collection of music boxes, diversified in style, size, color, design and price, to appeal to anyone's taste, decor and budget. This collection is proudly presented here.

Wood inlay (tarsia) is an ancient and most difficult art, a decorative composition obtained by cutting, inserting and putting together different colored pieces of wood to create a design or picture. These pieces are then set into a surface to create a design.. usually leveling with the surface. The art of hand made inlaid woodwork is an old and noble Italian tradition, typical of Southern Italy, and can only be performed by the skilled and highly trained artisans whose craft is handed down from generation to generation. The first records of inlaid art go back to the Middle Ages where it was known as "Certosina Wood Work". During the Italian Renaissance, the artisan and their apprentices reached high artistic level by copying the drawings of many famous contemporary artists of that era. This age-old craft continues to flourish to the present day although the number of artisans continue to diminish.
