A nursery is a special place,
Kept free of noise or strife.

This Keeper knows his mission well ~
To guard a precious life.

His charge is never left alone
Through naps or nights or dreams,

And for this nursery's nightlight
The Keeper scatters moonbeams.

With blinking & nodding
And the closing of eyes,

Babies drift off to dreamland
On sweet lullabies
